Apple has a line of really sweet displays called Apple Cinema Displays. They come in 3 different sizes, 20", 23" and 30" displays and all are flat panel displays.
The 20" display is active matrix liquid crystal and has a pixel resolution of 1680 x 1050, the 23" is 1900 x 1200 and the 30" is 2560 x 1600. You get a fabulous 16.7 million colors on these monitors.
The displays have an aluminum housing and they also have 2 firewire 400 ports and 2 USB 2.0 ports built-in. They are simply stunning to look at things on screen with.
Requires Power Mac G4 or G5 with NVIDIA graphics or ATI Radeon 7500 graphics card or better or a PowerBook G4 with DVI port.
