The Apple Mac Mini is just 6.5 inches square and 2 inches tall. The Mac Mini is a "bring your own" keyboard, mouse and monitor animal and has been converting Windows users (my wife is one) in large numbers.
Starting at just $599, it is also Apple's most affordable model. The Mac Mini can be configured a few ways to max it out as well. The computer comes with Mac OS X (currently Leopard), iLife '08, Front Row (with remote), DVI connector, a slot-loading optical drive, Gigabit Ethernet, USB (4) and Firewire (1).
They pack into this small box a machine as powerful as the MacBook laptop computers. If you already have a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor, this is a very easy and affordable way to step up to a Mac as painlessly as possible and you get a large portion of your desk back when you do so.
