The Apple MacBook laptop computer was introduced in May, 2006 and has been updated and revised since then.
It features a 13.3 inch screen, a built-in iSight web cam, wireless, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 Firewire 400 port, Bluetooth and built-in speakers.
They have upgraded the processor and the ram in the machine from the base 512MB to 1GB and the only major drawback to this machine vs the MacBook Pro is the fact that the video RAM is shared with the main computer memory. Not a problem if you don't expect to do gaming, video editing or really big graphic file editing.
It comes with the latest version of the Mac OS X operating system installed, plus all the other software Apple always includes with laptops.
